Windows Millenium (ME) Connection Setup

Before you begin, make sure you have the local dialup number for your area, and your Quicksilver Username and Password.

Click on START > SETTINGS > DIALUP NETWORKING > MAKE NEW CONNECTION

Type a name for the computer you are dialling - Type 'Quicksilver'
Make sure the correct modem is selected for your computer below. You should only have one modem to select from.
Click NEXT

Area code - leave this blank
Telephone number - enter your local dialup number (see here for a list of the local dialup numbers)
Country or region code - select New Zealand (64)

Click NEXT

Click FINISH

Congratulations! You have successfully set up your Quicksilver Internet Connection in Wondows Millenium Edition.

To connect to the internet, go to START > SETTINGS > DIALUP NETWORKING and select the Quicksilver Connection.
You will need to enter your Quicksilver username and password the first time you use the connection, and tick 'Save Password'
