Setting up Netscape Messenger 7 Email

Open the Netscape Messenger Program. Make sure you have the email settings handy and your Quicksilver username and password.

Click On 'Mail and News Groups Account Settings' > Click 'Add Account'

Select 'Email Account' > Click Next

Enter your name - First and Last name as you would like it to appear on outgoing emails.

Enter your email address - usually username@quicksilver.net.nz or your domain email address eg. me@mydomain.co.nz

Click Next

Server Information

Select the Type of Incoming Server as POP

Incoming Server - pop.qsi.net.nz

Outgoing Server - smtp.qsi.net.nz

Click Next

Enter your Quicksilver Username
(In lower case)

Click Next

Enter a 'friendly' name for this account
eg. 'Work','Home','Quicksilver' etc.

Click Next

Check your information

Click FINISH

Congratulations! You have setup your email for Netscape Messenger 7.0!
